The Slow is a personal exploration of home & a life well lived across the Pacific. Epicurean inspired & immersed in nature, it is a celebration of beautiful spaces, meaningful people & the simple pleasure of coming home.
The Slow is a passion project, rooted in the desire to connect life across the Pacific Ocean & the foundational values of a life well lived by the sea – slow, meaningful & inspired.
At its heart is the idea of a home away from home — places with warmth & an ease that makes you want to stay. It is shaped by Founder Kylie Burton's lifelong awe of the ocean & its restorative nature; an appreciation for beauty, design, entertaining & an even greater love of coming home.
Kylie is the Founder of KaidCo, & a real estate professional with a back ground in development, hospitality & design. Out of her desire to bridge the gap between her adopted homeland of North America & her native homeland of Australia, The Slow was born.
